Polygon Launches Aggregator Program: Successful Projects to Airdrop POL Tokens and Connect to AggLayer Network

Polygon has launched its Aggregator Program, designed to incentivize developers to build within its ecosystem and strengthen its decentralized framework. As part of this initiative, successful projects, referred to as "graduates," will be rewarded by sending up to 15% of their native token supply to POL stakers. Additionally, these successful projects will connect to the AggLayer network, further enhancing the Polygon ecosystem.

The AggLayer is a decentralized protocol that enables secure, cross-chain interoperability between different blockchains. It leverages zero-knowledge (ZK) proofs to ensure safety and provide a seamless user experience. By connecting to the AggLayer, projects can maintain their sovereignty while sharing liquidity and users, creating a more interconnected blockchain environment.

POL, which replaces the MATIC token, serves as the native staking and governance token within the AggLayer framework. The migration from MATIC to POL is automated for stakers, making it easier for the community to participate in the network's security and governance.

The Aggregator Program encourages active participation by rewarding POL stakers with airdrops of up to 15% of the native token supply from successful projects. This approach not only incentivizes developers to build innovative solutions but also strengthens the community’s role in the ecosystem’s growth. By connecting to the AggLayer, these projects will benefit from unified liquidity, shared users, and secure cross-chain interactions, helping Polygon become a more scalable and interoperable network.

Polygon's Aggregator Program is a strategic effort to foster innovation, increase community engagement, and support the growth of its ecosystem. The combination of token incentives and the integration with the AggLayer network creates a mutually beneficial environment for developers and the broader community.
